The English Teacher Who Found His Second Act

Hi, I’m Bob Moore.

For 32 years, I stood in front of high school classrooms teaching English—everything from grammar fundamentals to the power of storytelling. Before that, I spent four years in radio right out of Arizona State University (go Sun Devils!), where I double-majored in Telecommunications and English. I loved both careers, but if I’m honest, I never imagined what would come after them.

These days, I live in Iowa with my beautiful wife Lisa, our Beagle Doc, and our Chihuahua Maizy. (Why Iowa? That’s a story for another time—probably over coffee.)

From Classroom to… Now What?

I had decades of experience. I had knowledge people paid me for. I had skills I’d refined over thousands of lessons, hundreds of parent conferences, and more grading sessions than I care to count. But when retirement came, I didn’t have a roadmap for what to do with all of that.

The traditional retirement script—golf, travel, hobbies—felt incomplete. I wasn’t ready to coast. I still had things to teach, ideas to share, and energy to invest. But I also didn’t want another full-time job. I wanted freedom, flexibility, and the ability to work on my own terms.

I’m not some 25-year-old entrepreneur telling you how to retire. I’m a retired teacher who figured out how to build an online business, and now I’m teaching others to do the same.

I’m living this journey in real-time. I’m not someone who built a business 10 years ago and now teaches from memory. I’m building right alongside you, learning what works today, and sharing those insights as I go. When I teach you a strategy, it’s because I’ve tested it myself.
